  • Abstract
The Macao Museum of Prehistoric Art and Sacred is developing a strategy which sees the space of the museum as a place of interactivity. More than an audience we are interesting in developing the role of users, who through practice and a engaging visit build their own learning. In these terms we are interconnecting elements that relate with heritage, IT technology, and Intermedia art. All this terms are articulated on a strategy that works the concepts of tradition, local history and heritage. Many of the activities of the museum cross elements of experimental archaeology. Projects like Andakatu have had a very big success, with international projection. Transforming this success into a digital format has been quite a challenge. In this paper we present some of those challenges and practices, helping to contribute to the discussion on the use of serious games in heritage.
