Design service sectors — Meanings, development mechanism and future research directions

Design service sectors is developing in full swing and playing an increasingly important role in industry´s up-grading in China. Design service sectors, as an emerging industry, has been becoming the focus abroad, but in China, the research on design starts relatively late and lack mature theoretical system. In this paper, we discuss the meanings, development mechanism of design service sectors and finally point out the future directions for research in the fields.
