Abstract
A simple analysis of the mean squared error (MSE) behavior for Fourier linear combiner (FLC) based filters is presented, using the independence assumption. The advantage of this analysis is its simplicity if compared with previous results. The MSE transient behavior for this kind of filters is also studied for the first time. With this assumption, we can design the filter without a priori knowledge of the signal or noises´s statistics
