Abstract
Video teleconferencing on any legacy system requires system design analysis tradeoffs. Implementation of video conferencing has been fielded for the TROJAN SPIRIT II and constructed for the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) by solving interoperability issues. Integrated communication solutions that are available today will transition to tomorrow´s more encompassing solutions. The topics considered are protocol, network transmission, asynchronous transfer mode (ATM), and wireless
