Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the hybrid ARQ schemes with the adaptive modulation and the bit-LLR based packet combining through MIMO-OFDM eigen-mode channels for high throughput transmission. We have proposed two types of adaptive modulations using 64QAM, 16QAM and QPSK, those are named as Type-A and Type B, based on the PER and the throughput of each eigen-mode channel, respectively. The Type-I and Type-II Hybrid ARQ schemes with LDPC codes having the rates of 0.8 and 0.5 respectively, have also been investigated
