Abstract
The atomic oxygen profile (one dimension) in the atmospheric pressure non-thermal plasma in the barrier discharge is observed by using TALIF (two-photon absorption laser induced fluorescence) technology established ourselves. The profile is strongly related the development of the secondary streamer and also in good agreement with the ozone generation indicating the atomic oxygen generates the ozone. Photo emission profile is also proportional to the atomic oxygen profile except the photoemission near the anode plate (barrier electrode).
