  • Abstract
The authors discuss methods for computing electromagnetic emission from transmission lines which are suitable for computer implementation. They describe the realization of an automated package which has found application in the estimation of emissions from printed circuit boards. This procedure uses a commercial analog simulator to solve the circuit in the time domain, and user-written routines to evaluate the emissions in the frequency domain. The computation of the emissions can be performed by either of two efficient algorithms. Results are compared with measurements, and with those of proven numerical methods
