Abstract :
This paper deals with the automated segmentation of left ventricle in cardiac MRI using level set and enhanced filtering technique. The main focus is on the graphical analysis techniques such as Bland & Altman plot and regression analysis in order to verify the validity of the system. The area of end diastolic and end systolic phase of the base to apex levels has been found using the above algorithm and compared with the manually segmented images.
