  • Abstract
    The paper reports a comparative study of nine HF channel estimators: five of these are based on LMS algorithms, the other four on LS methods. Two requirements are: (1) fast convergence during the short preamble training sequence and (2) good tracking properties during the information data transmission, which are fundamental in rapid time varying HF radio channels
