Abstract :
An electrostrictive SAW device developed at Stanford University can be electrically biased to vary induced field on the substrate. This device can thus do convolution of input signals with variable weights. The authors introduce the design of an adaptive filter based on the SAW device, derive the convergence property and misadjustment of the algorithm, and model the coupling problem.<>
