Abstract :
A novel approach of a quantitative verification of OSM calibration using innovative sliding load on a coplanar transmission line is proposed. Verification is done by measuring values of effective directivity e00eff on calibrated vector network analyzer (VNA). Modified absorber has been used as a sliding load to obtain satisfactory isolation and optimal reflection. Suitability of these absorbers as sliding load elements is discussed. Experimental verification of proposed method has been done and comparison of measured data to the simulated results is shown.
