Abstract :
In this work an MLP is used to detect faults and identify the faulty component in simple analog circuits. An extensive analysis of the MLP outputs as a function of the component variations is performed. Results obtained were satisfactory pointing out the artificial neural network approach as very suitable to this sort of analysis
