Abstract :
This paper presents a method for using the CORBA Component Model (CCM) to integrate heterogeneous DRE systems. It has been realized in a extensible C++ template framework named CCM++. Experience from applying CCM++ on an example DRE shows can simplify heterogeneous DRE system composition while remaining spec-compliant. This therefore increases the portability of the solution to existing tools and frameworks that are CCM-compliant.
