  • Abstract
In this paper, a new analytical technique for compensation of the sample-and-hold distortion is proposed. The compensation is realized by modification of the system´s parameters. The order of the system´s function is kept the same. Using small pole displacement assumptions and an adequate set of adjustment frequencies, the coefficients of the compensated transfer function are obtained by solving a linear system of equations. This approach is essentially analytical. Nevertheless, the procedure can be used repeatedly to improve the compensation results. Examples and comparisons show that the new approach yields a better tradeoff between accuracy and computational effort than other existing techniques. The proposed technique can be easily adapted to compensate for other distortions
