  • Abstract
    Determinations of streamer and leader discharges in condensed media were defined more exactly. It was shown that as for fast discharges in condensed media so for slow ones the phase transition waves formalism proposed in our work is applied. Expression for velocity of discharge development in both low resistance and high resistance media was obtained. It explains variation of velocity for different discharges. Numerical modeling of streamer discharge in CdS was carried out
