Abstract
Both EM leakage and injection are serious issues causing secret information disclosure of cryptographic processors or unreliable operation of embedded controllers. In this paper, several on-board and on-chip protection circuit techniques will be introduced. Effectiveness of both proactive and reactive approaches will be demonstrated with actual silicon device proof.
