Abstract :
An ICAI (Intelligent Computer Aided Instruction) to teach how to diagnose epilepsy was developed at the GPEB (Biomedical Engineering Research Group), using the object oriented and multiagents society (MAS) paradigms. The integrated agents in the system are: expert agent, tutor agent, student´s model agent, interface agent and communication agent. Every agent is represented by an object class. Here a human like analogy is followed and in this case the object is composed of three parts: mouth, body and head. The mouth makes the communication with the others agents. The body is the agent´s part dealing with the problem resolution and the head controls the cooperation with others agents. The paper presents the system´s design and implementation aspects
