Abstract
Summary form only given. Most ball lightning (BL) features can be explained by a testable little black hole (LBH) model. Its core energy source is gravitationally stored energy which is emitted as radiation by means of gravitational field emission. The virial theorem is not violated, as LBH mass is converted to energy, and decreased gravitational potential energy of air molecules also energizes the air plasma. Radiation tunnels out from LBH due to the field of a second body such as the Earth which gives the barrier a finite width (similar to electric field emission); and which lowers the barrier (like Schottky emission). Radiation is beamed in direction as a function of external mass in a process differing from that of Hawking radiation, which has not been detected in 24 years.
