Abstract :
A reduced-order observer based disturbance reduction control technique is proposed, which is capable of minimizing the effects of deterministic but immeasurable process and measurement disturbances acting on linear systems. This scheme relies on reconstructing the disturbance state estimate through a reduced-order observer designed using a linear matrix inequality technique. Two examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
