Abstract :
A small folded meander loop antenna with wideband is designed based on three coupled modes. Its size is 0.985 λ0*0.985 λ0*0.985 λ0 at the center frequency of 1.41GHz. Measurement results confirm a fractional bandwidth of 8.5% with the voltage standing-wave ratio (VSWR) less than 2. Omni-directional radiation pattern is observed over the band.
