Abstract :
To ensure precision radiation of the environmental object with low activity, low-background efficient scintillator single crystals scheme and testing results for a highly efficient portable spectrometer for simultaneous and independent registration of spectra of electrons and gamma-quanta are given. A complex detector based on cadmium tungstate and organic molecular crystals in bulk is used as a sensitive element. The device is characterized by long-term stability, high data reproducibility, absence of any effects of the hard component of the outer space radiation and partial suppression of the outer gamma-ray background without shielding by means of the detected energies is 0.03-3.3 MeV for gamma-quanta, 0.04-3.5 MeV for electrons, and 4.0-8.0 MeV for alpha-particles. Registration efficiency for 90Sr+ 90Y radiation is about 85%, 137Cs-90%. The intrinsic background of CdWO4 is 0.01-0.02, and for para-terphenyl -0.06 pulses/cm3 keV hour in the hour in the energetic range of 0.1-3.0 MeV
