Abstract :
This paper supposed a fast-estimation method about soil erosion intensity based on multi-source spatial information integration, taking an example of Yangxin County in the middle reach of Yangtze River. At first, under geographical background of research region impact factors are put forward; then, using remote sensing data and vegetation index model extracts the land use types information and vegetation coverage information; producing the slope graphic by DEM; withdrawing the rainfall and soil type; stack of slope graphic, land use type graphic and vegetation coverage graphic combining with soil erosion intensity classifying index. After computing the soil erosion degrade, we gain the erosion intensity degrade map and finally count annul average erosion modulus of this basin. The result shows that this fast-estimation method for soil erosion intensity is feasible.
