Abstract :
The paper deals with the behaviour of non-ideal switches under certain boundary conditions imposed by the filtering networks. The effect of rise-and fall-time, reverse recovery time etc. on the modulated switch-output was throughly studied. A new method of modelling converter power stages containing non-ideal switches has been developed.
