Abstract
This paper provides a case study of implementing total quality management (TQM) into a maintenance function within a traditional manufacturing company. It identifies the key quality related activities taken by the maintenance management team within the company and shows that the results of implementing TQM into maintenance can be quite dramatic in contributing to improved manufacturing performance
