Observers for faster flux estimation in induction machines

Flux estimation in induction machines is examined from the viewpoint of observer theory. We note that schemes in present use are typically real-time simulations without feedback of any corrective prediction error. Our analysis and numerical simulations show that implementing such corrective feedback can result in considerably faster convergence of the flux estimates.
