  • Abstract
This paper describes how to redesign an old design to fulfil environmental constraints, i.e. re-use, recycling, substitution of hazardous processes. The new design is far easier to disassemble and is also easier to assemble. The production cost is also reduced (approx. 200 SEK or 25 US Dollars per unit) for the new paper feeder because of the change of manufacturing method. The usage of the new manufacturing method will probably be less environmentally hazardous
