Abstract :
Both parallel one-section and two-section stubs are employed to design W filters. In contrast to sequential stubs separated by series lines, two parallel stubs produce a passband lying between two sharp rejection stopbands. Equal-length two-section stubs are used to implement W filters with extended upper passbands. Measured results are presented to illustrate the validity of the design method.
