  • Abstract
    This paper discusses an embedded access gateway, which takes OMAP3530 as the center core and is built upon the embedded Linux 2.6 operating system. Based on the character and advantage of 3G and ZigBee, this article advances the solution scheme of the wireless home gateway. Mainly analyzes the software design of the gateway, including the way to realize the communication between the gateway and 3G networks, along with the design of data conversion task between 3G network and ZigBee network. And it proposed a solution to data loss, which is caused by the different transmitting rates of 3G module and ZigBee module. Results show that the data communication link between the wireless home gateway and Internet is set up and its wireless remote data communication possesses the advantages of high-speed, stability and reliability.
