Abstract :
A kind of electromagnetic field probe based on fiber optic transmission is proposed in this paper. The electric signal obtained by probe transform into optical signals by laser. Based on the rate equations, Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser(VCSEL) are characterized as an equivalent circuit, and antennas as well as amplifiers are equivalent to the signal source. This model has been simulated and analyzed in PSpice, its practicability and veracity has also been verified.
