    By analyzing serious flaws that exist in the current elearning systems in the areas of adoptability and individualization, based on empirical data collected during tutoring system development process, utilizing key technologies such as fuzzy evaluation method and neural network, distance elearners´ behavioral and performance data is obtained in the context of Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS). The establishment and evaluation of dynamic student models were studied, while adapting tutoring strategy to the learning characteristics of different classes of students. Finally, an ITS based on such student model is outlined.
