Abstract :
This paper presents a multi-sensor image acquisition platform which combines with hardware and software and can adjusts the dynamic range of sensor according to changes in light source. The hardware mainly consiste of image sensor MT9V032 and FPGA, and use the DMA in PCIE bus to obtain high-speed data transmission. Based on the High Dynamic Range characteristic of MT9V032, we propose a algorithm for determining image quality to track changes in light and consequently adjust the dynamic range and photoelectric conversion rate of image sensor. It can enhance the contrast of interested area and improve the image quality.
