Abstract :
We present an estimation algorithm for the magnetic sources in the human brain using MRI information. It is difficult to make a complete estimation of the whole brain magnetic sources, but it is known that the neurons exist densely in the cerebral cortex. For this reason, in this preliminary study we limit the estimation region to the surface of the cortex. We consider all the cortex surface points as current dipoles, and by using the MUSIC method we decide the real dipoles. We give here the results of our algorithm applied to simulation data and a real human brain data
