Abstract
The Spectral Domain Technique for 2D and 2.5D analysis of multilayer planar circuits has been implemented using a completely object oriented software approach in C++. The classes have been wrapped up into COM (Component Object Model) software components making them useable in any software that supports Visual BASIC or similar scripting languages such as JAVA. This enables an inexpensive tool for providing accurate electromagnetic analysis based models in other, widely used general design software tools such as filter design.
