Abstract :
We investigate the capacity of MIMO-CDMA system based on LS spread sequence with suboptimum multicode detector in Ricean fading channel. We compare the capacity of optimum ML multicode detector and suboptimum ZF (zero-forcing) multicode detector under two different Ricean models. It shows multicode detector´s behavior is very different with different Ricean models. When Ricean channel is beneficial, performance of ZF multicode detector can approach that of ML multicode detector rapidly as K-factor increases. Otherwise, the loss of capacity incurred by ZF multicode detector is significance when K-factor increases. This result gives guideline in the development of practical wideband MIMO-CDMA system based on LS code.
