Abstract
This paper indicates that management of value chain causes the transitions of operation mode based on reviewing the literatures of the value chain and operation mode. It analyzes the evolution of the value chain of telecommunication industry in China by means of integration framework for analyzing operation mode. The process undergoes the stages such as monopolized operation mode, double oligarch monopoly mode and several telecommunication operators¿ competition. The paper makes an investigation the approach to optimize operation mode of telecommunication operators.
