Service-Oriented Knowledge Modeling on Intelligent Topic Map

Providing high-quality knowledge services for users has become increasingly important with the rapid growth of information resources, and using Service-Oriented Architecture to build knowledge services is mentioned by many researchers. In this paper, we firstly proposed a new concept of intelligent topic map for knowledge organization and knowledge reasoning, it embodies the multi-level, multi-granularity and inherent relevant characteristics of knowledge. And then we established multi-layer Service-Oriented knowledge architecture with the intelligent topic map as infrastructure. Additionally, a system framework of the knowledge service is designed and implemented based on cloud computing. Finally, a demonstration is given to display the knowledge navigation.
