Abstract
Numerical and experimental results for the penetration of electromagnetic (EM) fields through a small, square aperture loaded with a conductive material are presented. A variety of composite materials and wire meshes and grids of varying spacings have been used to load the aperture. These results are compared with numerical results calculated using the method of moments
