Abstract :
The SSRL injector has been commissioned and already fills SPEAR (Stanford Positron Electron Asymmetric Ring) at rates which are comparable to those obtained using the SLAC (Stanford Linear Accelerator Center) linac. The design goals for the injector are presented along with the best achieved performance levels and routine performance levels.<>
