Abstract :
The aim of this work is to evaluate the performances of the OLSR protocol over mobile Adhoc Networks. Computer simulation results show the efficiency of the method and also offer performance measure that agrees with competitive methods. The study is conducted over various network topologies and also various terminals mobility. In addition various metrics are used for this performance measure mainly: End-to-End Delay, Paket loss, Packet Delivery Ratio and Routing Overhead metric. We also show the robustness of OLSR against the terminals mobility and the network size. OLSR makes obvious the efficiency of the MPR mechanism in cutting down the traffic density and the energy consumption.
