Abstract :
CFD simulation methods used to predict dielectric behavior of exhaust parts of metal-enclosed high-voltage circuit breaker are introduced. Simulations of heat transfer from hot gas to cold metal surface and the mixing process of hot and cold gases are carried out. Simulation results and their comparison with measurements are shown and discussed.
