Abstract :
Statistical estimation of electric field distribution in a cylindrical cavity is performed using frequency stirring. Statistical uniformity of electric field inside cavity has been checked. As expected, the frequency-stirring field magnitudes follow Rayleigh distribution. Likewise, the electric field tails have been shown to be appropriately estimated by Extreme Value theory (EVT) better than by parental (Rayleigh) distribution.
