Abstract :
The paper pays close attention to the application of the modal logic operators of “necessity” and “possibility” to determine the concept of a cardinality of an interval-valued fuzzy set. Consequently, the operators are used for constructing the ratio-based effectiveness and relevancy indices in web searching process.
