Abstract :
A low-voltage insulation system comprises a multitude of materials, carefully chosen to provide the desired service life of the device. As such, the interaction of the materials with the design and in the manufacturing process, as well as aging in use, needs also to be considered. This paper gives an overview of types of low-voltage of motors and generators, including critical factors regarding application and operation as well as technical insulation solutions.
