  • Abstract
The theme of this paper is to find out whether robots can understand emotion such as funniness and sadness, and can laugh or cry, eventually. We first studied how robots and computers relate to our daily life present and future. For a robot to recognize human emotion, it must first understand why humans feed funny. Some experiments have made it clear in which conditions humans feed funny. Based on the result of these thought experiments, the authors attempt to construct a system to understand funniness and sadness. In this paper, we mainly try to analyze the problem of funniness only
