Abstract :
Using N3-chemisorbed mesoporous TiO2 film as a photoconductive layer, we fabricated a layer-structured photorefractive liquid crystal cell. Because there were no charge-trap sites in mesoporous TiO2 layer, a temporal diffraction grating was formed. The photorefractive effect is attributed to the charge separation and diffusion at a TiO2/N3 interface.
