Abstract :
With the increase in the scale of enterprise distributed data, which are deployed in heterogeneous, geographically distributed enterprise application systems, it is difficult to provide efficient and uniform management on such distributed enterprise data. This paper proposes an adaptive model of enterprise spreadsheet engine in distributed environment (AM-ESEDE) to address the issues by leveraging the born data presentation and calculation ability of spreadsheet to unify the enterprise information access to heterogeneous data sources. The complicated computational relation among the distributed data can be extracted and maintained in spreadsheet by using a language called SCRL. Through spreadsheet binding technique, AM-ESEDE can also integrate the computation relation with the heterogeneous data dynamically to achieve the distributed enterprise computing automatically on the spreadsheet to provide powerful tools for decision support
