Abstract :
A modern state-of-the-art radar frontend for use in Ka-band radar applications like small seekers for missiles or drones has stringenst requirements to electrical, mechanical and thermal aspects. It has surely also be taken care on economical and environmental demands. This vast array of seemingly contradictory conditions can be fulfilled by using a LTCC-multilayer (Low Temperature Cofired Ceramic). LTCC-technology is one of the most advanced approaches to the miniaturisation of RF circuits.
