Abstract :
The accurate model of cable termination is set up. Further more, different deep of water in silicone oil are also be consider to the model, which are 2 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm. In order to simulate the electric field of the water in silicone oil of cable termination, the finite element analysis method is used. And the results of the analysis are also illustrated. In the experiments, termination with water in silicone oil is compared with the one without the fault to check the result.
