Abstract
In this paper, an effective method for the time domain simulation of dispersive coupled transmission lines with measured or tabulated frequency data is presented. Accurate high order approximations of the line parameters are obtained using a two phase least square fit procedure with frequency partitioning. Reduced order matrix Pade approximations of the fitted high order models are then computed using a block Lanczos algorithm with a reliable adaptive scheme for treating breakdowns
