Abstract :
Most UNIX-like file systems do not support the undelete operation, so it is a difficult thing to recovery the deletion files in the field of data recovery. By studying on the bitmap and physical structure of UNIX-like file system (take ext3 file system as an example), present an improved method about the UNIX-like file system which does not support the undelete operation. It shows that the method is helpful in practical using.
